T16 Stereo Modification to Reduce Noise There is a small amount of ground loop noise in the stereo unit that is only evident with speakers that have efficiencies of about 95 dB or more. The noise is apparent when the second input cable is plugged in. The solution is very simple. On the "B" channel side, there is a short wire that connects the ground lug of the RCA jack to the negative (black) binding binding post. Remove this wire and replace it with a 10 ohm, 1/2W resistor. This will completely kill the noise. That's it!
