List of Associates

Anyone who purchases a Transcendent kit, if desired, can become a Transcendent Associate.  Associates are authorized to resell assembled kits to the general public at a profit and will be listed on the web site.  This program is designed to allow hobbyists to use their kit building skills to earn some extra money.  No capital investment is required, just the purchase of the first kit.

Why are you doing this?

Transcendent Sound is a factory direct operation.  The Associates program gives us field representation.  Also, we gain access to your valuable labor.  This increases product visibility and gives hobbyists a chance to earn money in their spare time doing something they enjoy.  Everyone wins!  

Can Associates deal on price?

Sure you can.  We don't care what price you sell them for.  Obviously, the lower you set your price, the less money you make.

What if the customer auditions the unit and then buys from the factory?

That is a chance you have to take.  It is inevitable that some people will do this.  We suggest that you remove the lid and show the customer your good work to convince them that you can do a quality job.  

What information is listed on the web site?

The minimum information will be your email address and city.  If desired, name and/or phone number will be included.  The level of privacy desired will always be respected.

Can Associates make upgrades and modifications?

Absolutely!  If you want to include more expensive volume controls, attenuators, special components, or custom mods, go right ahead.  We want you to have every chance to make a sale.  In this business, everyone wants something different.  So give them something different and charge accordingly.

How much money do you think we can make?

Don't quit your day job.  Audio is a small market business.  Look at it this way.  If you sell just two kits, you made more than enough money to pay for your original purchase.  The program is intended to allow you to have a chance to earn money to subsidize your hobby.   Instead of just taking your money, Transcendent Sound is interested in partnering with you to our mutual benefit.  No other audio company will do this for their customers.

Are there any time obligations to be an Associate?    

None whatsoever.  You can be listed as an associate for as little or as long as you like?

What if I can't get the kit to work?  

If you make a mistake that you can't figure out, kits will be repaired at the factory for a fee.  If the problem is caused by a faulty part (extremely rare), the factory will cover that.  The factory will not cover modifications.

Who pays who?

The Associate buys the kit from the factory.  The customer then pays the associate for the finished product.  Or if preferred, the customer can buy the kit from the factory and have the kit shipped to the Associate.  The customer then pays the Associate for assembly.

What about warranty?

The factory will warranty all original parts.  If a unit breaks down due to a bad part during the warranty period, the factory will cover that.  Transcendent circuitry is very reliable and trouble free. Warranty repairs are a minor issue and almost never occur.
